  • eggs - 2 item
  • sticks margarine - 2 item
  • powdered sugar - 2 c
  • pecans - 1 c
  • stick melted butter - 1 item
  • large carton Cool Whip - 1 item
  • cans crushed pineapple, drained - 2 item
  • to 4 bananas, sliced - 3 item
  • graham crackers - 2 c
  • jar cherries, chopped - 1 item

How to make banana split cake:

Mix together 1 stick melted butter and graham crackers to make crust. Pat into 13 x 9-inch pan. Mix powdered sugar, 2 sticks margarine and 2 eggs with beaters for 15 minutes. Pour over crust. Slice bananas over this. Pour 2 cans crushed pineapple over bananas. Spread on large carton of Cool Whip over pineapple. Sprinkle with 1 cup pecans and top with cherries. Refrigerate for 2 hours.
