Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- pkg - 8 oz
- salt - 2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- soda - 2 tsp
- nuts - 1 c
- raisins - 2 c
- salad oil
- stick butter or margarine - 1 item
- shredded carrots or 3 jars junior baby food carrots - 3 c
- No sifting needed
How to make carrot cake:
Mix all ingredients in a large bowl with an electric mixer. No sifting needed. Bake in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan for 40 to 45 minutes at 350°.Cream Cheese Frosting:1 lb. powdered sugar8 oz. pkg. cream cheese1 stick butter or margarine2 tsp. vanilla Mix margarine and cream cheese until smooth.
