Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • cream cheese - 1 (8
  • eggs - 4 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • butter
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • sifted flour - 2 c
  • 10x sugar - 1 to
  • salad oil
  • nuts if desired - 1 item
  • finely grated carrots - 2 c

How to make carrot cake:

Icing:1/2 c. butter1 (8 oz.) cream cheese1 1/2 to 2 c. 10x sugar1 tsp. vanilla nuts (if desired) Combine salad oil, sugar and eggs (one at a time). Beat well after each one. Gradually add dry ingredients. Mix well. Add carrots. Mix well. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.

Icing: Combine butter and cream cheese. Beat until light and fluffy. Add 10x sugar and vanilla. Top with nuts, if desired.
