- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- butter
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- sifted flour - 2 c
- 10x sugar - 1 to
- salad oil
- nuts if desired - 1 item
- finely grated carrots - 2 c
How to make carrot cake:
Icing:1/2 c. butter1 (8 oz.) cream cheese1 1/2 to 2 c. 10x sugar1 tsp. vanilla nuts (if desired) Combine salad oil, sugar and eggs (one at a time). Beat well after each one. Gradually add dry ingredients. Mix well. Add carrots. Mix well. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.Icing: Combine butter and cream cheese. Beat until light and fluffy. Add 10x sugar and vanilla. Top with nuts, if desired.
