Caramel popcorn
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 c
- sticks margarine - 2 item
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- light corn syrup - 1/2 c
- dry roasted peanuts - 1 c
- popped popcorn - 18 c
How to make caramel popcorn:
Mix first 4 ingredients and heat to boiling. Boil 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add baking soda. Pour caramel over popcorn. Mix well. Spread on greased baking sheets. Cook in preheated oven at 200° for 1 hour. Turn every 15 minutes. Cool and store in covered container.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, Grains.
