Ingredients/Components

  • plain flour - 3 c
  • Crisco
  • egg, beaten - 1 item
  • white vinegar - 1 Tbsp
  • cold water - 5 Tbsp
  • salt - 1 tsp

How to make never fail pie crust:

With pastry blender or fork, cut Crisco into flour and salt. Add beaten egg with vinegar. Slice through. Then add 5 tablespoons cold water. Slice through mixture. Divide into 4 parts, roll out on floured waxed paper to fit pie tin with 1-inch hang over. Turn under edge and flute.
