Never fail pie crust
Ingredients/Components
- plain flour - 3 c
- Crisco
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- white vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- cold water - 5 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
How to make never fail pie crust:
With pastry blender or fork, cut Crisco into flour and salt. Add beaten egg with vinegar. Slice through. Then add 5 tablespoons cold water. Slice through mixture. Divide into 4 parts, roll out on floured waxed paper to fit pie tin with 1-inch hang over. Turn under edge and flute.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
