  • or more dry roasted peanuts - 1 c
  • margarine - 1/2 c
  • sugar - 1 c
  • light corn syrup - 1/2 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • baking soda - 1 tsp

How to make caramel crackers:

Combine crackers and nuts in a greased shallow baking pan. In a saucepan, bring butter, sugar and corn syrup to a boil and cook 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Add vanilla and soda. Stir well. Pour over crackers and nuts. Stir well. Bake at 250&de
