Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- margarine - 1/2 lb
- light corn syrup - 1/2 c
- cream of tartar - 1/4 tsp
How to make caramel corn:
Mix all ingredients except soda and boil 4 minutes. Remove from stove and stir in soda. Stir and quickly pour over 6 quarts of popped corn. Mix well and pour out on cookie sheet. Put in preheated 250° oven and cook 1 hour. Stir 3 or 4 times while baking.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, American.
