  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • brown sugar - 2 c
  • butter - 1 c
  • baking soda - 1/2 tsp
  • popped corn - 8 9
  • Karo syrup - 1/2 c

How to make caramel corn:

Put popped corn in a large roaster pan. Boil all ingredients, except popped corn and baking soda, for 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Add soda; stir quickly and pour over popped corn while foamy. Mix well. Place in a 250° oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes while baking.
