Ingredients/Components

  • brown sugar - 2 c
  • stick margarine - 1 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • white lard - 1/2 c
  • soda - 1/4 tsp
  • popped corn - 8 qt

How to make caramel corn:

Mix and let boil for 5 minutes. Add soda and vanilla. Pour over popped corn. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.

I mix this in my porcelain roaster and stir 2 to 3 times during the baking.
