Ingredients/Components

  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • brown sugar - 2 c
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • sticks butter - 2 item
  • light Karo - 1/2 c

How to make caramel corn:

Combine brown sugar, Karo and butter in pan and boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add soda and vanilla. Pour over 7 quarts of popped corn. Put in 250° oven and bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Butter pan before adding popcorn and syrup.
