  • soda - 1 tsp
  • sticks margarine - 2 item
  • cream of tartar - 1/8 tsp
  • light brown sugar - 2 c
  • light Karo syrup - 1/2 c
  • popcorn - 6 qt

How to make caramel corn:

Pop corn to measure 6 quarts. Boil all other ingredients except soda for 5 minutes. Add soda and whip. Pour over corn. Mix well. Bake in dishpan for 1 hour at 250°. Stir every 15 minutes.
