Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 2
- stick margarine - 1 item
- water - 1/2 c
- dash of cinnamon - 1 item
- medium sweet potatoes - 8 item
How to make candied yams:
Boil potatoes and cook until tender. Peel potatoes. Arrange potatoes in long baking dish. Boil sugar, water, margarine and cinnamon until it starts to thicken. Add to potatoes and bake in 400° oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour (or until syrup is as thick as you want). Serves 8.Recipe categories: Pineapple, Side dish, Casseroles.
