Candied sweet potatoes
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- stick margarine - 1/2 item
- water
- medium sweet potatoes - 4 item
How to make candied sweet potatoes:
Peel potatoes; cut in slices 3/4-inch thick. Place in baking dish (single layer is best). Mix sugar and flour; spread over potatoes. Heat water and margarine. Add vanilla. Pour over sugar and potatoes. Bake at 350° until potatoes are tender (about 20 to 30 minutes).Recipe categories: Side dish, Potato, Yam/sweet potato.
