Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 1 c
- water - 1/2 c
- margarine - 1/4 c
- medium sweet potatoes - 6 item
How to make candied sweet potatoes:
Parboil potatoes for 15 minutes. Place in a buttered baking dish. Combine sugar, salt, butter and water in a saucepan. Boil for 3 minutes. Pour sauce over sweet potatoes. Bake at 350° for 1 hour. Baste occasionally.Recipe categories: Side dish, Potato, Yam/sweet potato.
