Candied sweet potatoes
Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- brown sugar - 1/3 c
- nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- margarine - 1/4 c
- light corn syrup - 1/3 c
- plus 2 Tbsp - 1/2 c
- allspice - 1/4 tsp
- orange juice - 2 Tbsp
- pineapple juice - 3/4 c
- pecans, chopped - 1/2 c
- medium sweet potatoes, baked and peeled - 6 item
How to make candied sweet potatoes:
Cook all ingredients in saucepan for 10 minutes (except potatoes). Place 1/2 potatoes in 13 x 9-inch baking dish. Pour 1/2 sauce over potatoes and add rest of potatoes and remainder of sauce over them. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Sprinkle pecans on top.Recipe categories: Side dish, Potato, Yam/sweet potato.
