Candied pecans
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- egg whites - 2 item
- stick butter - 1 item
- dash of salt - 1 item
- pecan halves
How to make candied pecans:
Toast pecan halves at 350° for 10 to 15 minutes. Mix cinnamon, salt and sugar. Beat egg whites. Blend egg whites and dry ingredients. Pour pecans into mixture. Melt butter in cookie sheet. Pour pecan mixture into melted butter. Spread evenly. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Turn at least every 10 minutes.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Fruit, Nuts.
