Ingredients/Components

  • cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
  • water - 1/4 c
  • margarine - 3 Tbsp
  • chopped onions - 1/4 c
  • thinly sliced carrots - 3 c
  • orange marmalade - 2 Tbsp
  • can V-8 juice - 1 oz

How to make candied carrots:

Cook carrots and onions until tender, not mushy, still firm. Blend margarine, cornstarch, V-8 juice, water and marmalade. Cook until thick. Mix with carrots and onions.
