Cajun chicken over rice
Ingredients/Components
- dried whole oregano - 1 tsp
- garlic powder - 1/8 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1/4 c
- soy sauce - 1/2 c
- large onions, chopped - 2 item
- hot cooked rice - 1 item
- black pepper - 1 2
- dried whole marjoram - 1 tsp
- dried whole basil - 1 tsp
- large tomatoes, peeled and chopped - 5 item
- boneless chicken breasts, cut 1-inch pieces
How to make cajun chicken over rice:
Sprinkle chicken with garlic powder; set aside. Combine tomatoes and remaining ingredients, except rice, in a large Dutch oven. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes. Add chicken and return to a boil. Cover; reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes or until tender. Serve over rice. Makes 6 servings.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Chicken breast.
