Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- butter or margarine - 6 Tbsp
- water - 6 c
- lemon juice - 3 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- can chicken broth - 1 oz
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
- onions, chopped - 2 item
- small head cabbage, chopped - 1 item
- flour optional - 2 Tbsp
- can tomatoes, chopped - 1 oz
- instant chicken bouillon or cubes - 8 Tbsp
How to make cabbage soup:
Saute cabbage and onions in butter for 15 minutes. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer 1 hour. Add more chicken bouillon cubes, if desired.Recipe categories: American, Vegetables, Soups & stews.
