Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- water - 2 c
- oil - 1/4 c
- garlic powder - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1 tsp
- soy sauce - 2 Tbsp
- medium onion - 1 item
- parsley - 1 tsp
- tomato juice - 1 qt
- thyme - 1/2 tsp
- vegetable bouillon cube - 1 item
- head of cabbage - 1 item
- medium carrots - 3 item
- green pepper optional - 1 item
- Miso - 2 Tbsp
How to make cabbage soup:
Saute onion and green pepper (diced) in oil until softened. Add carrot and cabbage. Add in tomato juice and water. Let come to a boil. Add bouillon cube, Miso, soy sauce and spices. Stir until cube and Miso dissolve. Cover and let cook on medium heat until carrots are done, approximately 45 minutes.Recipe categories: American, Vegetables, Soups & stews.
