  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
  • hamburger - 1 lb
  • tomato juice - 1 c
  • rice - 1 c
  • onion, minced - 1 item
  • scalded milk - 1 c
  • about 25 cabbage leaves

How to make cabbage rolls:

Separate cabbage leaves and wilt in 3 to 4 cups of hot water. Mix meat, rice, onion, salt and pepper into small balls. Wrap in cabbage leaves. Place closely in roaster. Cover with water and tomato juice. Bake 2 hours at 350°. Before serving, add milk.
