Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/4 c
- can sliced water chestnuts - 1 item
- mayonnaise - 1/4 c
- can cream of celery soup - 1 item
- crushed corn flakes
- cabbage, shredded - 3 4
- Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- stick margarine, melted - 1 item
How to make cabbage casserole:
Layer half of corn flakes, all of cabbage and chestnuts. Add salt and pepper to taste. Mix mayonnaise, milk and soup together and pour over the cabbage. Top with Cheddar cheese, margarine and rest of corn flakes. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, Ground beef.
