  • firmly packed brown sugar - 1 c
  • salad oil - 1/2 c
  • yellow cake mix plain - 1 item
  • chopped nuts fine - 1 c
  • Filling:2 Tbsp

How to make butterscotch coffee cake:

Mix all ingredients well in large mixing bowl.Filling:2 Tbsp. soft butter or oleo (not the whipped oleo)1 c. chopped nuts (fine)1 c. firmly packed brown sugar Mix all ingredients together with a fork. Spread half of the cake mixture into a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan and sprinkle half of the filling over it. Spread second half of the cake mixture and the remaining filling on top. Bake 45 to 50 minutes in 350° oven. Good warm or cold.
