- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- buttermilk - 2/3 c
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- stick butter - 1 item
- 9-inch pie shell - 1 item
How to make buttermilk chess pie:
Cream butter and sugar. Add flour, eggs, vanilla and salt; beat well. Then add buttermilk. Pour in pie shell. Bake at 350° for 45 to 50 minutes. Let set for at least 10 minutes before cutting.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
