cinnamon - 1/4 tsp
vanilla
milk - 1/3 c
salt - 1 tsp
flour - 1 c
baking soda - 1/2 tsp
egg - 1 item
chopped walnuts - 1 c
raisins - 1 c
light brown sugar
butter flavored Crisco - 3/4 c
Quaker Quick oats not instant or old fashioned - 3 c

How to make cherry oatmeal cookies:

Heat oven to 375°. Grease baking sheet with Crisco. Combine Crisco, brown sugar, egg, milk and vanilla in a large bowl. Beat on medium until well blended. Combine oats, flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. Mix into creamed mixture at low speed until blended. Stir in raisins and nuts. Drop tablespoons of dough 2 inches apart. Bake at 375° for 10 to 12 minutes. Cook 2 minutes on baking sheet. Makes 2 1/2 dozen cookies.
