Buttermilk biscuits
Ingredients/Components
- buttermilk - 1 item
- butter Crisco - 1 Tbsp
- self-rising flour White Lily - 2 c
How to make buttermilk biscuits:
Mix flour, Crisco and buttermilk in a small bowl. Pour out on a floured cutting board. Knead until stiff. Cut out in size that you prefer.Melt 1 tablespoon of butter Crisco in bottom of baking pan and place cut out biscuits in Crisco. Turn over to grease both sides. Cook at 450° until brown. Makes 6 biscuits.
