Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- soda - 1/4 tsp
- buttermilk
- baking powder - 1 Tbsp
- shortening - 5 Tbsp
- sifted flour - 2 c
How to make buttermilk biscuits:
Mix all dry ingredients together; cut in shortening. Add milk. Mix well. Place on well floured board; roll out to 1/2-inch thick. Cut with biscuit cutter. Bake in well-greased pan at 350° until brown.Recipe categories: Breads, Breakfast, Rolls/biscuits.
