Butter cookies

Ingredients/Components

• butter, softened - 2 c
• sugar
• vanilla extract - 2 tsp
• flour - 4 to
• cinnamon or food coloring for variety, add one or the other - 1 item

How to make butter cookies:

Combine butter, sugar and vanilla. Add flour, 1 cup at a time. Mix until stiff. Drop from teaspoon and flatten onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400° for 8 to 10 minutes.
