Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 3 item
- powdered sugar - 3 c
- butter, melted - 3/4 c
- bananas - 4 item
- Dream Whip - 1 pkg
- container Cool Whip - 1 item
- crushed vanilla wafers - 2 c
- 1/2 sticks butter - 1 item
- nuts and cherries - 1 item
- large can drained, crushed pineapple - 1 item
How to make banana split cake:
Mix and press crushed vanilla wafers and 3/4 cup melted butter in a cake pan and bake 8 minutes at 350°. Cool completely.Beat butter and 3 cups powdered sugar. Add eggs. Beat together well and spread over cooled crust. Slice bananas and place in a circle on top. Add well-drained pineapple on top of banana mixture. Beat Dream Whip, following instructions on box. Add one container of Cool Whip and spread on top. Sprinkle with nuts and cherries. Dip bananas in lemon juice to prevent from turning brown.
