Broccoli casserole
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/2 c
- frozen broccoli - 2 pkg
- cooked rice - 2 c
- small jar Cheez Whiz or Velveeta - 1 item
- small onion, saute in margarine - 1 item
- can soup cream of chicken, celery or mushroom - 1 item
How to make broccoli casserole:
Cook broccoli until tender (do not overcook). Chop after draining. Mix onion, soup, milk and Cheez Whiz. In casserole dish, put 1/2 of rice with 1/2 of soup/cheese mixture over it. Spread broccoli and rest of rice. Pour rest of soup/cheese mixture over rice and top with buttered bread crumbs (or crushed crackers).
