Cheesy cauliflower



  • pkg - 1 head
  • milk - 1 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • all-purpose flour - 3 Tbsp
  • margarine - 3 Tbsp
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • 6 oz

How to make cheesy cauliflower:

Melt margarine in heavy saucepan over low heat; add flour, stirring until smooth. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Gradually add milk and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened and bubbly. Stir in salt and pepper. Remove from heat; stir in 1 cup cheese and set aside.

Place cauliflower in a greased 2 1/2-quart casserole. Pour cheese sauce over cauliflower. Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup cheese over top; bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
