Breakfast casserole
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 4 item
- milk - 1 c
- grated Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- salt and pepper optional - 1 item
- slices bread, crust trimmed - 8 item
- ground sausage, cooked and drained - 1 lb
How to make breakfast casserole:
Place 4 slices of bread in bottom of casserole dish. Sprinkle cooked sausage on top of bread, then cheese. Place the last 4 slices of bread on top of cheese. Beat eggs, milk, salt and pepper together. Pour egg mixture over casserole. Cover and set in refrigerator overnight.Next Morning: Cook at 350° for 1 hour.
