- bulk sausage - 1 to
- slices bread, cubed - 8 item
- grated sharp Cheddar cheese - 2 c
- eggs - 4 item
- milk - 2 c
- can mushroom soup - 1 item
How to make breakfast casserole:
Brown sausage in skillet, stirring until crumbly; drain. Layer: bread, cheese and sausage in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Beat eggs with 2 cups milk. Pour over layers. Chill, covered, overnight. Mix soup and 1/2 cup milk. Pour over top of chilled mixture. Bake at 300° for 1 1/2 hours.Recipe categories: Breakfast, Casseroles, One Dish meal.
