Ingredients/Components

  • butter - 1 item
  • Dijon mustard - 1 item
  • sausage - 1 item
  • sharp cheese - 1 item
  • eggs with 1 c - 1 doz
  • white bread with crusts cut off - 1 item

How to make egg strata:

Mix butter and Dijon mustard and spread on bread. Spread layer of bread on bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan. Cover with layer of grated cheese and layer of cooked sausage. Layer one more time. Pour milk and egg mixture over bread. Cook at 350° until top is brown.
