Breakfast casserole
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- sticks margarine - 2 item
- eggs, slightly beaten - 6 item
- sharp cheese, grated - 1 lb
- hot sausage, browned and drained - 1 lb
- slices white bread, crust cut off - 10 item
How to make breakfast casserole:
Butter bread after crust has been removed. Cut up into 2-inch pieces. Butter bottom of a 9 x 13-inch Pyrex dish. Place bread in dish. Mix eggs and drained sausage together. Add milk and cheese. Pour over bread. Refrigerate overnight. Cook at 350° for 30 minutes, covered with foil. Remove foil and cook 15 minutes, uncovered.Recipe categories: Breakfast, Casseroles, One Dish meal.
