Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour - 3/4 c
- melted margarine - 1/2 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- salt optional - 1/4 tsp
- chopped walnuts optional - 1 item
- banana, mashed - 1 item
- honey or less - 1/4 c
- All-Bran or granola cereal or rolled oats
How to make breakfast bars:
Set 1/2 cup cereal aside. Combine remaining ingredients. Spread into greased 11 x 7-inch baking dish. Crush reserved cereal and sprinkle over batter. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes. Cool a few minutes and cut into squares.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Breakfast, Grains.
