- boiling water - 1 c
- sugar - 1 c
- brown sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 2 item
- flour
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- soda - 1 tsp
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- In large mixing bowl, combine the remaining ingredients; add oatmeal mixture and mix well

How to make oatmeal cake:
Combine oatmeal, oleo and boiling water; let stand for 20 minutes. In large mixing bowl, combine the remaining ingredients; add oatmeal mixture and mix well. Bake in a greased 13 x 9-inch pan at 350° for 30 minutes. Spread Topping on cake while hot.Topping:6 Tbsp. oleo1/2 c. sugar1 c. coconut1 c. nuts In saucepan, combine all; heat to boiling.
