- sugar - 1/2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- melted butter - 2 Tbsp
- cinnamon to taste - 1 item
- fresh bread, broken in chunks - 2 c
How to make bread pudding:
Put bread in 1 1/2 to 2-quart casserole dish. Beat eggs in a bowl. Add milk, sugar, salt, vanilla and butter; stir. Pour over bread and mix well. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes. Serves 6 to 8.Recipe categories: Desserts, Puddings and mousses, American.
