Blueberry muffins
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2/3 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- nutmeg - 1 tsp
- baking powder - 1 Tbsp
- melted butter - 1/3 c
- fresh or frozen blueberries - 2 c
- additional sugar - 1 item
- additional melted butter - 1 item
How to make blueberry muffins:
Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. In another bowl, beat eggs. Blend in milk, butter, nutmeg and vanilla; pour into dry ingredients and mix well. Fold into berries. Fill greased or paper-lined muffin cups 2/3 full. Bake at 375° for 20 to 25 minutes. Brush tops with melted butter. Sprinkle with sugar.Recipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, Muffins.
