Ingredients/Components
- packed brown sugar - 1/2 c
- milk - 2 to
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- raisins - 1/2 c
- butter, melted - 1/4 c
- warm milk - 2 c
- box instant lemon pudding - 1 item
- bread cubes, lightly packed 4 to 5 slices - 4 c
- cinnamon and nutmeg to sprinkle on top - 1 item
How to make bread pudding:
Combine the first 7 ingredients; spread in a large baking dish. Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg. Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes. Let cool. Mix pudding with 2 1/2 to 2 3/4 cups of milk to make a thin pudding. Drizzle over cooled bread pudding.Hint: Banana cream or French vanilla instant pudding can be substituted for lemon pudding.
