Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt
- all-purpose flour - 5 c
- warm water
- stick butter oleo - 1/4 item
- dry yeast, softened in 2 Tbsp - 1 pkg
How to make bread:
Scald milk with butter, salt and sugar. Add warm water and softened yeast. Mix with flour and knead for ten minutes on floured board. Kneading is the secret of good bread. Replace in bowl, cover and allow to rise for two hours in a warm place. Turn the dough over and punch down. Let rise one hour and shape into loaves. Place in greased loaf pan and allow to rise double in size. Bake at 375° for 45 minutes.Recipe categories: Eggs/dairy, Egg, Breads.
