- sugar - 1/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 3 to
- oil - 2 Tbsp
- yeast - 1 pkg
- lukewarm water - 1/4 c
- water not hot - 1 c
How to make bread:
Mix lukewarm water and yeast; set aside. Mix together oil, salt, sugar and 1 cup water; then add yeast. Add flour. Make into a dough ball; coat bowl and top of dough ball with oil. Cover with a tea towel and put in a warm place, or in sink with warm water. Let rise about 1 or 1 1/2 hours. Punch down. Let rise again about 1 1/2 hours or until doubled in size. Make rolls. Let them rise about 1 hour. Bake at 350° until light brown. If you like a soft crust, coat baked rolls with butter and cover with tea towel for 5 minutes.
