Blueberry muffins
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/3 c
- eggs - 2 item
- milk - 2/3 c
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- baking powder - 4 tsp
- shortening - 1/4 c
- blueberries fresh or well drained, canned or frozen - 2/3 c
How to make blueberry muffins:
Set oven for hot (400°). Cream the shortening. Add sugar gradually, creaming thoroughly. Beat eggs. Add. Mix and sift 1 2/3 cup flour, baking powder and salt. Add alternately with milk to first mixture. Mix blueberries with remaining flour; stir lightly. Bake in greased muffin pans 1/2 hour.
