- sugar
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 1 item
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- baking powder - 4 tsp
- melted butter - 2 Tbsp
- mashed potatoes - 1 c
How to make potato doughnuts:
Combine potatoes, butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla, milk and salt. Add baking powder, nutmeg and enough flour to make dough look like bread dough. Turn onto floured board; knead, then flatten dough to about 1/2-inch thickness. Cut doughnuts and doughnut holes; deep fry in hot shortening.Recipe categories: Breads, Lunch/snacks, Breakfast.
