Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 3/4 c
  • cinnamon - 3/4 tsp
  • milk - 1/2 c
  • flour - 3/4 c
  • baking powder - 1/2 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • sifted flour - 2 c
  • soft shortening - 1/4 c
  • blueberries - 2 c
  • Stir in milk

How to make blueberry crumb cake:

Mix sugar, shortening and egg together. Stir in milk. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt and add to batter. Blend in blueberries. Spread in greased and floured cake pan, 8 3/4 x 13 1/2-inch. Put 1/2 of the batter in pan, then the berries, then the rest of the batter. Put Topping on top of batter. Bake for 1 hour at 325°.Topping:1/2 c. melted butter3/4 c. flour1/2 c. sugar3/4 tsp. cinnamon Mix together.
