Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- sifted flour - 2 c
- soft shortening - 1/3 c
- drained blueberries - 2 c
How to make blueberry buckle:
Heat oven to 375°. Mix thoroughly sugar, shortening and egg. Stir in milk. Add flour, baking powder and salt. Stir. Blend in berries. Spread in greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan. Sprinkle with crumb topping. Bake 45 to 50 minutes until toothpick comes out clean.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Blueberries.
