Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 5 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- butter or margarine - 1 c
- flour - 3 c
- nutmeg - 1 tsp
- soda - 1 tsp
- baking powder - 1 Tbsp
- berries and juice - 2 c
How to make blackberry cake:
Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Combine dry ingredients and add alternately with berries and juice. Add vanilla. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes. Makes 3 layers or can be baked in 9 x 13-inch pan.
