Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 3 item
- milk - 1/4 c
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- flour - 3 c
- brown sugar
- butter - 5 Tbsp
- nutmeg - 1 tsp
- shortening - 1 c
- powdered sugar - 3/4 c
- raisins - 1 c
- cloves - 1 tsp
- allspice - 1 tsp
- blackberries - 1 c
- buttermilk with 1 tsp - 1 c
How to make blackberry cake:
Icing:1 c. brown sugar5 Tbsp. butter1/4 c. milk3/4 c. powdered sugar Cake: Mix flour, sugar, buttermilk, soda, shortening, eggs and 4 spices thoroughly. Add blueberries, nuts and raisins. Bake at 350° in greased and floured Bundt pan until pick inserted comes out clean.Icing: Mix brown sugar, butter and milk in saucepan. Boil 3 minutes. Let cool. Add powdered sugar and blend well. Spread over cake.
