- pkg - 1 lb
- garlic powder - 1/2 tsp
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- onion, chopped - 1 c
- celery, diced - 1 c
- meat for seasoning - 1 item
How to make black-eyed peas:
Soak peas for 3 hours. Drain. In 4-quart pot, add all ingredients and cover with water. Boil until peas are done. Serves 6 to 8.Recipe categories: Main dish, Beans, Curries.
