  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • bay leaf - 1 item
  • onion, chopped - 1 item
  • garlic clove, minced - 1 item
  • hot sauce - 1/4 tsp
  • cans black-eyed peas, drained - 2 oz
  • bacon slices, cooked and crumbled - 6 item

How to make black-eyed peas:

Stir together all ingredients in a 2-quart microwave-safe baking dish. Cover and microwave at Medium power for 10 minutes. Stir well. Remove bay leaf. Cover and let stand 5 minutes. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
